Fun evening on Guntersville

Went out on the lake with Whitereb for the evening and caught several blue gills and I got a nice little pumpkin seed. Then just before we were getting ready to head back to the dock he tied into a nice blue catfish which was the keeper of the day. He caught it on a cricket on ultralight gear. Nice job.
And then right after that I got a nice little bass. Not a keeper but it was fun to catch. I got it on a night crawler. All in all a really fun outing and I learned a lot from him. Looking forward to the next time.

I meant blue cat duh🤦‍♂️. We catch mostly Chanel cats around here but we get occasional blues on the Snake River too. Just habit I guess. 🤷‍♂️
