Todays thought / salute is for another underpaid profession. Also true that it is a job that some look down on as if they could do it better and just find fault with. But who are you going to call when it's your turn at the wrong end of a weapon?
Granted the field does have a few bad apples, but for me i wonder why people run when they are told to stop knowing all to well what may happen. Bottom line, if you are not guilty of anything why run.
So today for those that wear the badge with p***e, Thanks to the many Men and Women Police Officers out there that are as the saying goes took on a job ” To Serve and Protect “.

The media is quick to throw the hard working individuals under the bus for a few bad apples. Then again I don't think that some of the officers ever get a fair hearing either as they are tried and convicted before they ever see the court room. My interactions have always been good even when I got a ticket. Follow the rules and treat them how you want to be treated and all goes well. Start yelling and insulting them or having all your friends get their cameras out and it isn't going to go well.
We have a habit of giving them water bottles if we see them taking a break across from our house and they always are so thankful.

Oh E.pa.al., that disband / defund crap really gets my goat. Let those politicians and sigh holders be in a predicament requiring an officer and see if their tune changes because no one is available to dispatch to their location.
Freedom of speech is all good, but one should not open their pie hole unless there is an alternative to their demand.
So for those not in favor of todays thread, please enlighten us to an alternative to disbanding / defunding.

Gmorn fellows. I appreciate our local law enforcement. I've met some of them n they are decent people doing a job most don't want. Disbanded because of a few bad apples. Gee if they'd do that everywhere DC would be a ghost town. Y'all have a good day 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

I respect the police officers. They have a tough job. I salute and support them There is always a few bad apples in any group. I am glad that here in Texas we support the police in most of our cities. Our governor definitely supports them.🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

If politicians and others want to disband the police it would be a good idea to start with their armed body guards. That goes for the elitists who feel they are better than everyone else and don't have a collective brain in their heads as well.

I can’t imagine a world without them. God bless them for what most of them do on a daily basis…protect and serve!
