Next trip will be to try fly fishing on N. GA mins.....

Nice catch Ozzie, and Mrs Ozzie. That's the best way to break in new gear, with something pulling back on the other end. Thanks for the picture.

¡Way to GO, Ozzie (& "Mrs. Ozzie")! I'm telling you, them old Mepps Spinners are "da BOMB"! (Caught a Muskie on one, up north, when I wasn't yet full grown!)

Mepps is a hard lure to beat. I've been to their "factory" in Antigo, WI a few times over the years and they are always happy to give a tour. The CEO's office is like a museum of every sort of fish imaginable...all caught on a Mepps! A nice, family run business, which is very rare these days in the tackle industry...although I should put a good word in for the Bay De Noc lure Company up in Gladstone, MI which is located in Michigan's beautiful Upper Peninsula. Another family owned business with hard working staff. They make the famous Swedish Pimple amongst other great lures!

Way to go on your catch...and good luck the next time you guys are out on a fishing adventure!

Love those Swedish pimples for vertical jigging, didn’t realize they were made in Michigan.
