I used to catch a lot of largemouth around the Pack River and bays further east on the
north shore. Are they still there? Also, trolling was real good for large trout in the shallows
at the far north end -- 40 years ago. Still productive?

This time of year we fish the Clark fork delta to PAC river. Walleyes and big smallies. Keep the boat moored in Bayview, as you know that’s a long run. Mostly fish from Whiskey rock and the south end.

Interesting. There weren't any walleye or smallmouth in the lake, at least that part, when I fished it.
If it's like most lakes out here in the NW, th sallies have probably taken over from the largemouth to great extent.
