Hi CBD Maybe these pictures will help you. Top is a tube jig. middle plain hook use with or w/o slip sinker bottom stand up jig head. If you look close at tube jig you'll see where tie eye come out.
thank you CBD and Grizzly and I was wondering myself also. Picked some up a couple weeks ago.

Hi Gravey. Ive been useing them for a long time. The ones in pics are hollow bodies. If I'm in real rocky stuff i ues the tube jig n skin hook point. I use tube jigs because my round head mold only has 1/2 oz cavity.

Neko rig them CDB, Ivey posted a great video a while back.I'll try and find it for you .

Search for "Another Killer Rig ", has awesome video footage.

Absolutely Neko rig em. I use a 3/8 ID O ring and a VMC Neko hook. Nail weight of your choice. I use 3/16 tungsten.
That or T rig with a 4-0 or 5-0 EWG hook which ever is a better fit

Those look good

This big boy came out of the gullet of a 5# largie that my buddy caught and gave to me to fillet. The claw was still hanging out of the gullet opening and he took a black worm hooked whacky. We tried to release him but it was obvious that he wasn't going to make it. He did fillet up nicely. I did see a you tube video of a guy that used a rubber band around the thorax to put the hook under and secure the crayfish. He would count to ten after the smallie hit before setting the hook. Sometimes he was able to used the crayfish twice.

Enough of the crayfish that size would be a meal too.

Thanks Griz! I went to school on this. I would bet my bottom dollar this type of rig would kick butt on walleyes.

The walleye opener here is May 15. I'll let you know if your suggested rig is a hit. I'm pretty confident.

I should have called it the eye opener. All in favor, say eye. Dissenting, say ear.
