By the way my names Tony from Steubenville Ohio wish u luck
So, I'll be turning 44 years old this month and still cant seem to scratch this this terrible itch plaguing me. It's called targeting and catching a muskie. Since September, I have been researching, studying reports, watching videos, and spending good money on gear and baits that Ive watched prove effective by others. I'm putting in the time, and fishing waters such as Marsh Creek lake, and areas on the Susquehanna that I know produce! What am doing Wrong??? If anyone has any tips or advice I would greatly appreciate it.
If ANYONE could share their knowledge/experiences with me, Especially Marsh Creek lake, please do !!!
Sounds like you are doing what you need to do. Patience my friend. Need to stay at it....
Where about on the susquehanna u fishing, I caught a lot from Wilkes-Barre on down to Shickshinny
Throwing 1/2 in hair jigs tipped w 5 in shiners. Any slack water or small pools, any fallen trees that disrupt flow always held a few. Once caught 2 in 2 casts. Its a frustrating game, but worth it once u find some
Good luck man & hopefully tight lines!!
Pm me if u want more specific locations
Where do you fish for Trout in Lititz PA?
New here. Has anybody had any luck in South Central PA around Shrewsbury/York area for bass? The places I have been I have left skunked.
Have you tried lake Redman - Williams or lake Marburg?
First post (I think), anybody fishing Blue Marsh lake? Haven’t caught anything good there in years…

Last i heard at bass pro n read on line blue marsh still sucks. If you have a boat try the Susquehanna. I'm trying ti get my boat ready for lake marburg. Good luck
Yeah I got a 23’ center console bay/ ocean boat I’ll put in Blue Marsh occasionally to rinse off. I use to have luck at dusk for bass, carp, cat fish etc.
Recently the fishing has dried up (for me anyway). I’ve seen pretty large hybrid stripers (dead and floating) but never hooked one.
Well your boat won't work on most of Susquehanna. I have a 1754 CC tracker merc jet. I never heard much good about blue marsh. Hear boat traffic is crazy like Raystown. I do remember hearing about a fish kill there. I've never been YET figure I'd give it at least one try
I’ve never been to Susquehanna… guess that’s why. I’ve caught carp and cats while anchored with chicken liver, corn etc. plenty of blues too but they don’t work as bait. I just got a cast net permit for BM but no luck there either yet haha (my technique sucks).
BM is ~15 minutes from my house which is why I bother plus it rinses the salt. If anybody knows where the stripers are/ how to catch I’ll trade boat fishing for guide service…😎

I'm a mile north of Md line. Most good fishing is a ride for me. Lake Marburg is only 50 miles. I know it has some good fishing i just need water time to figure place out. Recently purchased a DI depth finder to help with that. Have heard about some good striper fishing.
wading the Juanita up river from where it runs into Susquehanna.
The 22’ CC beached at BM. Son and dog pictured…
