The safest and most effective automatic bilge pump test...

1. Install drain plugs from the outside of hull.
2. Retain the services of a certified SCUBA or HardHat Diver.
3. Launch boat.
4. Have diver remove plug(s).
5. Remain in watercraft for 30-45 minutes.
6. if still afloat after test, pump is functioning properly.
7. If pump is operating, but not emptying bilge, replace with larger pump or install a second pump.

Note, please have emergency flotation equipment on standby in case all fails.
