Use them at Pine Crest lake last year the two times I went , used 24inch 2lb leader line drifting with the boat had a ball catching Trout !!

Also becoming popular in So Cal as many lakes are getting them from central/nor Cal hatcheries. These are from Lake Cuyamaca in San Diego County. Most ppl call them Lighting Trout around here. They fight like hell and often jump which is crazy and they taste great.

Yes, Went on Monday morning caught 4 all about 14 inches. They have not planted since 2-22-24. There is a derby coming so they should be planting real soon.
