3/15/2021 Thought for Today

The thought below is a quote by the late Robin Williams titled 5 lessons of life sent to me by the G man
( Gordon }

Today is Lesson # 1

" Sometimes the best response is no response,
even fools seem smart when they are quiet “

Personally I use the no response on a disagreement with the wife and it drives her up the wall.
Only because I know it would induce the foot in mouth disease for me.

So call me a fool.

Silence is golden. They want you to listen and then when you do, they are pissed off you don't say anything. You figure it out. The less I talk, the happier I am. Happy husband, happy life, right?

Leave them in suspense and keep your mouth closed, rather than open your mouth and prove it.

There is a right answer.

The problem is it is not all the same for each model.

They came with no directions.

I did
I do
I don't so much anymore

But I do still love her.

It's a no win situation just hug and kiss them and say I love you

Be like a fish. If he doesn't open his mouth he doesn't get in trouble

It's my experience, that THIS is often a good solution... Provided she's not "Armed and Dangerous"!

Sounds great in theory. There are times that they really aren't hugable and kissable.

Mine hates “whatever “. She says it’s dismissive. Duh.
