Have you ever spent the weekend thinking about throwing in the towel on a problem? Here are a few thoughts by some others.

"when was the last time you did something for the first time?

"if you think you can, or if you think you can't" you are probably right.

You argue with your wife, Doug, that is a waste of time, and nothing good will come out of it. Trust me, you can't win.

Good morning & THANKS, plumbob!!!
Part of that, reminded me of an old man I'd worked with 43+ 44 years ago. Once in a while, he'd say: "use a bigger hammer".!!!

Trying to convince someone of something when they have their mind made up is a waste of time. It's like banging your head against a wall to get rid of a headache. You will still have the headache(or worse), and a dent in the wall to fix.

I knew a young couple who argued over the quickest route to get home. They actually took two different ways to see who was right. The difference was three minutes shorter the way the wife suggested. 3 MINUTES - who cares???? I asked her would you rather be happy or right? She answered without hesitation - "right," she said. I wonder if they are still married.

Very good point Flyguy.. but she'll argue with me for not arguing with her so I feel obligated to argue just so she wins... LOL!!!

" one more cast " The mind goes right to the memory of saying that to myself and yes at times there was a fish to be had.

Life can be the same way at times, its knowing when to move on too a new spot.

That is the challenge.

Do you really WANT to win a fight with your wife. The results can be terrifying.
