Nice Bass Jwid. And I wouldn’t let NorCal give you any lip. I don’t see any reason you couldn’t take a picture of any fish you catch legal or illegal! You put them back and that’s all that matters! Maybe next year you can catch them again and they will have picked up a pound or so!!

I am not giving him lip. The first sentence clearly states I'm just giving him something to think about. That something is called standards. Either you get it or you don't I guess.

Hey guys, I’m not bothered. I know I’m set up to take quick pictures. Fish were lip hooked and in the water quickly. Darted away off my thumb. I want to protect the fishing quality of my lake and I am legal. I was enjoying showing that I finally hooked something I was targeting even if small. I guess living on a private lake could cause some with an over abundance of rules to question my actions. Tight Lines.

Jwid... I love you man and I sometimes am the worst communicator ever. Especially now I can see that I'm doing a terrible job and not making my point at all. Please forget that I said anything at all and go catch some damn fish worth taking a picture of! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Thanks. I plan on it. Let’s end this one.

Hey NoCal. I understand and didn’t mean to offend anyone. I was teasing about you giving him lip. I knew what you were getting at but on the other hand I also knew why the man took pictures of his undersized fish. He was just thrilled that his skunked period was over. And we all know how much everyone enjoys pictures!!

You have to admit they are very healthy looking fish. As a trustee of the lake the pictures we share of the good and the problems of lake, dam, and fish help us maintain it to the best of our abilities and budget. The lake is the oldest man made lake in Missouri. Dam was built in 1910. Pre dates the Lake of the Ozarks by decades. The only place I fish these days. Kind of spoiled. We haven’t had to stock any bass in over 10 years. We added 350 9 inch channel cats last year to help control the bluegill. They are getting big and I am looking forward to hooking up with them. Biggest catfish I’ve caught so far was a 10 pound blue. Not much information about the lake online being private. I have to pinch myself having the opportunity to live there. Thanks for caring.
