30 yards is typically a long cast for me . 20 is more the norm . Shorter casts give me better control. If I need to get more distance I can , but I’d rather move the boat
I agree. That sounds bout right to me. That goes for throwin Senkos too. Shorter cast usually to structure like rocks, logs, laydowns and such.
I also cast with my right and reel with my left.
