Hi Yank Welcome. I hope for you what I hope for me that the last thing I get to do on this earth is with a fishing pole in my hand. Such great memories in fishing you never forget the great fish you were lucky enough to land.

Maybe try renting one for a day and see how it feels. There are several rental places on the Willamette here where I live in Portland, OR. There are also some good 1-day classes out there you can take to learn some quick tips. Heck, maybe start your own senior, kayak fishing club! You go, Pres!!
