Anniversary and Valentine's Day Dinner

Here is what I cooked for my Sweetheart and me for our special day. Home grown/canned Green Beans, Mashed Potatoes, Bone in Rib Steaks, both steaks together weighed 4.3 Lbs. That is a full size plates.

That steak would take ME two days to eat. I did lamb chops with baked potato and roasted asparagus. That's been our traditional V day dinner for years

Good job! We had same cut too! Fired up grill, propane, temps well below zero. Propane would not heat up, was barely burning. So we broiled in the oven, turned out good. Again good job

I tried something new. I preheated in oven to 275 then with steaks on a rack over a large baking dish heated it until internal temp reached 125 degrees, which takes about 60 minutes, however mine were very thick over 1 1/2" which took longer. Then in very hot skillet M/H seared each side for 1 minute.
