Something similiar happened to Ike Walker, partner of Bomber Bait Co. he was out in the warehouse ripping a board or something with a skill saw. The saw hit a knot and jerked back. Before the cover could close and protect him from the still spinning blade, it hit him on the inside of his thigh, severing his artery. He would have died right there if there had not been some others around who rushedd him to the emergency room of the hospital that was only a couple blocks away. Just Sayin...RJS
