In march it'll be 2 years ago I started thru chemo and I know what thats like. Don't know if I could do that again but I got my flu shot back in December and today 1-21-21 i got my covid shot. The chemo messed up my lungs and gave me a heart arrhythmia problem so I can't afford any more problems. The Dr. At the VA told me this is best thing to do. No adverse effects yet.

Hack, don't you remember all the injections you were given before you went to Vietnam? I went to Korea first & I'll never forget all, those shots. I even had a gamagoblin shot. I don't think that shot is given to anyone in the world nowdays. Some of those shots were given with an air gun. Both my arms & butt were sore for days. I still had to take shots before I went to Vietnam.

Coon, I remember those injections I was given in basic with that air gun and the ones I was given before I went to Vietnam. They told us if we moved the air gun would cut us deep and they weren’t lying. Didn’t happen to me but I saw it happen. I’m sure you did too. Remember those whelts we would get under our skin? Man those things hurt. Air injected medicine. Never seen it before or since. Prehistoric times back then given by prehistoric doctors, if that’s what you call them.

I remember bein stripped to the waist and marchin in a line where the Drs, or corpsmen or whoever, were on both sides of us and we would get those shots from the airgun in both arms. Guys fainting before getting their shots and guys passing out afterwards. It's a wonder we lived through some of the things they put us through getting us ready to go overseas.

It pissed me off and when I get pissed off I get mad. I was already tired of no sleep, then they line us up and shoot air into us. I was ready to move on to AIT and get the hell out of Fort Puke.

theres a bunch of jobs that get preference [emt,grocery,transit etc]
got a phone number to call for getting for vaccine, its automated of course. weird thing is you can only claim
category my boss said use the over 66 one. figgered i would get a better chance cuz i drive a bus but only one can be entered[remember the gov is in charge of this] you punch in your ph# and they say they will call with appt time and location. that was thurs 1/22. we'll see how well this works, this is the 'gift' that keeps on given; last year you had to wait in line to get in a store[ and probably diddnt have what you needed [ TP?] and now your waitin again to get vaccd. some bs huh
