I have two streamlights that use aaa batteries. Work great, very bright on the high settings and very rugged and comfortable to wear.

The LED ones are easy on batteries
I agree they are easy on batteries and give off great light. I have a cami baseball cap I got a Lowe’s with 2 LED lights under the brim. I didn’t use it a lot but I just had to replace the batteries for the first time in 5 years. I would highly recommend it. One issue, it took 4 CR2032 batteries. $18. Ouch.

Can anyone recommend a good headlamp. I bought a rechargeable one off Amazon and it stopped working after 2 charges.

I have one I ordered on Amazon that’s made by Ikaam, 6000 High Lumens. It has three settings and comes with two sets of rechargeable batteries. I use it all the time fishing. Has been the best one yet.
LED Lenser. Adjustable beam size, adjustable brightness, (you don’t always want full strength), and three triple a batteries.
I have the energizer with two settings for the white lights and one setting for red which works well for bees in the dark as you can see them and they do not see red.

Would encourage you to check out Black Diamond head lamps. Brightest headlamp I’ve found. Multiple setting options and strongly built.
I have a couple Black Diamond and they are highly recommended by me

Just talked to the buddy as he had one up hunting that really impressed me. He said it is the Browning Blackout 6v. It made things bright as day. 35-860 lumen - usb recharging or battery. Green and white lights but spendy - he said about $90. Has used his 2-3 hrs almost daily for 3 years with no issues.
I’ve had great luck with Petzl. I keep one on my boat and it has held up to the salt and elements
Black diamond all the way

I didn’t know that about bees. I’ll have to try it when the weather gets warmer since my Petzel has a red light as well

CR2032 lithium coin-cell batteries are not expensive.
I just looked on Amazon and found 4 blister packs of 5 batteries each, total 20 batteries for $8.76 with Prime one-day delivery. You can find other brands for significantly lower if you include off-brands.
I keep multi-packs of button & coin cell battery types on-hand for us, my sons, dil & grandsons. All together it cost me less than $20 for all of them. If you need help, pm me and I can help you.
