linegod - fishing from the bank I almost always use a spinning rig and throw a casting bubble with some water in it with a woolybugger attached. I'm a lousy fly caster.

So Linegod, you're not fishing Lake Travis if you live near Lago Vista. (For those of you that don't know, Lake Travis is west of Austin in the Texas Hill Country.) Are you traveling to fish trout, say Guadalupe River?
