Here's another fly along the Damselfly nymph theme. Anyone know what it is?

Except for the tail... That's what I thought too.

It looks familiar. Is it a mosquito hawk fly?

This is another Rickard original that he gave me when I was fishing in the eastern Sierras some years ago.
It is called Rickard's Damsel Nymph. It is also a good "Near-Nuf" pattern for a Hexagenia (green drake) nymph.

The photo below shows several variations that have produced very well for me at Lake Almanor that has an excellent Hex-hatch around the first couple of weeks in June.

Here's the recipe for this fly:
Thread - black or olive Danville (or whatever you prefer)
Tail - olive marabou with flash tied at the sides (can use crystal flash)
Body - synthetic blend dubbing such as Crystal River Lite Brite (brushed a bit for that buggy look)
(You can also substitute olive chenille for the body)
Rib - medium copper or gold wire
Collar - orange grizzly hackle or olive partridge
Optional - gold bead head

Have fun!
