¡Welcome to the Fishing Stage, D Ryb!

¿What kinds of fish did you USED TO catch over there? (¿And, how long ago was that?)

Out going tides from a boat incoming from the mud flats been working for a long time just hasn’t been working lately
I fish the front beech in and out tides at night catch more fish but no big ones
Stripers douring the shad and hearing run early to mid June blue fish over the summer
I want to say its changed inthe last 5/7 years

Is it a winter thing or year round ?
I’m gonna guess you’re talking striped bass. I know the population is a bit low at this time.

I’m willing to bet that there isn’t as much bait for them simple find the bait the fish won’t be far behind that goes for most any type not just blues and bass
They never winter here the population is low the question is why?
Very true easier said than done though

D Ryb; I'm wondering if there's something wrong on my end of this, or if maybe someone has been "private messaging" to you, and you have been answering them back, here.
Back in the early to mid 1970's, we used to try for striped bass off the beach at Plum Island ¿State Park? ... Never caught one... We were using blood-worms. (Not during the winter, though.)
