Yes sunscreen, I now wear a hat at all times outside and long sleeve shirts. My scalp is my problem spot. Just had one removed on Dec 30 2020. That makes four or five surgeries and countless freezes. Dad always told me to wear a hat but I didn't listen and now are paying the price.

I know what you mean, had one surgically removed from within my ear canal last year and another required radiation therapy this year. All those construction years of no shirt or hat just now paying the price.
I've only had to freeze one on my cheek but I know what you mean about exposure. I can remember when Copperfield came on the market. Our idea of sunscreen was baby oil with a drop or two of iodine in it and I spent all my time outdoors, dawn til dark .
Copperfield would have made them disappear.
Coppertone with baby oil and iodine made them pop out.
