Wow buddy, so glad y'all didn't fall for that. SO many older folks are taken advantage of and lose money they can't afford to. NOT sayin you and the wife are old.
Bummer. If you did win you could of bought 10 Pontoon Boats for the meet and greet and then take offers on them at the end of the week.

guy that called should be arrested and jailed
wonder how many old folks fell for it
Goodness! It's always frustrating (stomach turning) when I hear these types of things as I constantly do business over the phone which requires a degree of trust and it creates more challenges in my industry for us folks who are trying to do the right thing and help people given their current need and situation. At the same time, good move dbed! Making sure you and/or family weren't being taken advantage of.

NP Just give me the check and when it "Clears", I'll pay the State and Federal Taxes. That's when they hang up.
If it sounds too good to be true.......................
That kind of sh## makes me sick. We send men to the moon but can’t stop that nonsense.

My MIL was taken for 4 grand before one of the family caught on. She went to her grave thinking she had won, and regretted the family for not letting her send more money to get her millions.
