I travel internationally a lot with work and have had some excellent Japanese and European beers
At home I drink for cheap. Usually a old school PBR
Domestically I like Yuengling a lot.
Have tried Spotted cow from Wisconsin which is excellent
My absolute best beer I’ve ever had Is from Mexico. A beer called Miranda ITA. Not IPA which to me is another way to spell gross.
ITA. Kinda Carmelly , kinda nutty.
They age in tequila barrels and throw a frond of agave in the mix. Stellar.
What’s your favorite beer
Without a doubt it’s Yuengling lager, maybe biased because it’s made here in Pa. but my friends from where it’s not available like it as well.
With so many microbreweries out there, these days, the "most favorite" is one of those questions that are easier to answer if we were given the task of naming our "top 5", rather than one.
I am a fan of any beer that's not yellow..... save that stuff for a hot day, mowing, weed eating, or such... when you plan on drinking many.
Deschutes' "Jubelale" is an autumn seasonal that is quite tasty, as are the always available Obsidian Stout and Black Butte Porter, from the Bend, Or. brewery also.
Locally we have Caldera and their "Pilot Rock Porter" and the best (IMO) imperial stout ever..."Mogli", a tasty ~11+%, that is served in a big wine glass(never bottled or canned, only available at the brewery's tasting room or their restaurant, on tap).....patrons may have "one per visit, per person, please"...lol.
With over 7000 breweries in the U.S. and ??? worldwide......this thread is likely to get lengthy !!
CHEERS to all the subsequent answers !!!
A frosty mug can make even a marginal yellow beer taste better !
the one in my hand at the time

I have never had a bad beer.

Loc: Mid North Carolina
Dos Equis Amber on tap
Sapporo in bottle
Nothing like an ice cold Corona after unloading some hay wagons
My own Homebrew. Stout was good. Amber Ale I made. Artificially carbonated was really good. I put it in 2liter coke bottle for fishing in boat. took into bowling alley too. noone realized it was ALE.
Modelo in glass..coors original in glass bottle.
Ultra - (I know, I know!!!) Also Fat Tire & Yuengling..
I usually stick with Yuengling. Don't drink much beer, usually no more than two in a day, and lots of days with none. I make my own wine so that is usually my choice.

Jeez, there are a lot of bootleggers on the fishing forum.

Fly, have you ever tried one of the sour beers they came up with a few years ago?
If not, I would recommend you don’t.
I have quite a few that I like, but an actual go-to favorite would be hard to choose.
New Glarus, Leinenkugels and Yuengling Breweries make some very fine beers.
Shiner Bock and Alaskan Amber are very good as well if they are available. Beer is very consistent in a bottle, but on tap they can vary if the lines are dirty, or if the bar’s dishwashing method isn’t great.
Enjoy your favorite in moderation, of course!
