Hello everyone,
Having spent most of my life in Colorado, fishing in streams you could jump across and feeling good about landing 8 inch cutthroat, it’s pretty awesome to see the monsters that live around here.
I been fishing my whole life and now I'm the new guy! It’s pretty cool, so much to learn. Looks like I will spending alot of time in the Pensacola Beach area, which brings me to this website. Thanks in advance for all the help,
RF

It does but I’ve never seen one with a pink head unless that’s a reflection of some sort.

Welcome to the Stage Bob, that's a big Snapper Blue, or a small Harbor Blue. We use different prefixes as they grow.
Snapper
Harbor or Tailor
Chopper
Excellent eating as Snappers, good at Harbor size, and eatable over 10lbs or so. Big ones are excellent when smoked!
Excellent fighters in all classes as long as you match tackle to fish size. Watch out for the teeth, there's a reason for the nicknames!LOL
There's new bag limits up here anyway, due to population decline, 3 per day. Check your local regulations.

Bluefish. Great fighters. Plenty of head shaking and strong runs.

Welcome to the Fishing Stage, Bob Err! ... Seeing that bluefish, brings back memories, I'd just as soon leave alone... That 2nd fish, although vaguely familiar looking, I can't put a name to.

Definitely a Bluefish. Be careful, they bite!!!! In fact if they got big enough they would eat the Megladon
