So, this is the 3rd time our furnace has went out. First time the guy said it was the fan. A day later it went out again, one of the lines were clogged and the pressure switch wasn't working because of the clog. Now, its messing up in the same fashion, blinking a new code this time, 3 long and one short blinks and I looked that up... the pressure switch again. I texted the landlord...again... hopefully he won't go cheap this time.
Anyone familiar with heating and cooling?
Can you bypass the pressure switch to at least get heat

Thats what I did last time, but now I'm not sure what to do, meaning I can't remember what I did last time. I know I unhooked the pressure switch and jumped it with a piece of jump wire, but I can't remember if there was a process before I jump it?

Just be careful when jumping and by passing you don’t burn the house down. Just say’n 🐟on

sounds like there could be a problem they haven't found causing all the problems

Sure sorry to hear about that, Denny... ¡Don't run a gas stove/oven too much, without "venting the CO", by "cracking" those windows, ever-so-slightly!... I used to also fill a bathtub/ scalding hot water... I also, would be somewhat hesitant, about re-engineering the system... Keep after the "Responsible Party"... Maybe if'n when it hurts his wallet, things will happen faster, in the future.
Well we got it working. The lines were full of water Because the collection box was full of sediment so we flushed that out and drained all the water, put her back together and she's working now! We shall see how long it remains running..

Glad you've gotten that straightened out... This is REALLY getting to be, the wrong time of year, to be "discovering" all these various problems; BUT, it happens every year. (With SOMEONE)
