New to FishingStage, between boats, generally fish the lower potomac and middle bay. Enjoy all types of fishing though, and understand, fuel ain't free. USCG licensed captain. Enjoy all types of fishing, so if you're looking for someone to turn a reel, or drive the boat, let me know.

I'm on the wrong side of the country, but 45 years ago I used to fish the Pawtuxent from the Naval Air Station for blues and stripers - fishing was really good back in them days. When the blues were runnin you could catch em on a bare hook, worse than piraña.

Striper fishing's been good this fall. The blues still run in late summer, just not as many or as big

Pecan Pie, love it but not my favorite. I'm more of the Pennsylvania Dutch pie guy. Shoofly Pie and mincemeat pie for me please. Those are both Vintage in the Amish country.

don't know how those fit into this post, but they sure do look delicious. who baked these? my ma used to make her own mince meat with beef, beef suet, raisins, apples, other goodies. We were Indiana Dutch by way of Pennsylvania on my ma's side of the family. We'd have probably been Amish had one of my great - greats not been shunned for having indoor plumbing.

Well these posts can very easily slide off in a totally different direction. It's why I like this forum so much. Just jump right in with a post about pie. Why not?

hey, thanks, love to. Selling a boat right now, and will be buying another to fish the lower potomac/ches bay. Typically fish out of Tall Timbers in SoMd, keep my boat there. Work for Freedom Boat Club in Belmont Bay.

You are down at the end of the river...I had a center console on the rappahannock river near the Chesapeake in Urbana va. Loved fishing there but came back closer to home. Mostly drop in at occoquan park or Leesylvania park.
