I'm new here and fairly new to fishing as well. Retired from work, but ready to learn and enjoy what so many see to love, I want to let my rods and reels take up some of my time. Hope to get to know y'all over time. Will add a picture of myself as soon as I can find one.

For me anyway fishing is “me time”
Lord knows with the demands of a career and life in general. Everyone deserves some time to dedicate to themselves
Enjoy. If you have any questions , the folks here will have valuable input.

Welcome aboard HookedOn. Just take a pic with your next catch and post it. It really doesn’t matter how big or small - its the thoughtfulness of sharing with us that counts. Enjoy
HookedOn: If you have a cell phone, find the camera ikon, then there's a little button, or symbol at the bottom that will reverse the direction and will show your mug as you are facing the camera. You then can take your own picture. Just Sayin...RJS

Welcome to the Fishing Stage, HookedOn! I had "tied up" near you, right about at the mouth of the James River, for a couple of trips of scalloping, back in mid-1980... No real experience trying to catch anything with fins on it, right there, though.
