The Four Seasons

By spring we run with Glee,
At the sights there are to see,
We run into fields renewed,
To see what green life may have grew,
By Summer we enjoy what spring left us in its joy,
Between the working day we find time to relax and play,
The days are long but short,
And we think we know of all sorts,
By Autumn our work is done, Time to relax and bask in the sun,
Changes Transpired, and given a new perspective to admire,
We reflect on our lives, and how everything arrived just right,
We feel as a plane just taking flight,
By Winter we find time short, and to deny is the normal retort,
Soon we find you cannot deny anymore than defy,
Our footprints in the snow show where we have been and where we are to go,
As we proudly walk to the next Spring, in the world next door,
Maybe not the best poem you've ever read, But still It popped in my head, and I thought maybe someone would enjoy.

CDB; in my opinion, you might ought to at least add: "©" at the end of there, somewhere, if'n y'ain't already. (It's a good one, Little Brother!) {It is my understanding of "the law"; that, THAT would "suffice", in retaining your rights to any possible future "Royaltie$", which may be realized from your creativity.}

Thank you, I dont know where it came from, I was walking down the road after checking the mail and started reciting it in my head, so I kept it going till I got up to my home, and typed it down.

Yeah, I gotchya on that... Maybe consider RE-posting the poem, (either here or elsewhere), with the additional: "© 2020 By: {your name}" tacked on the ending of it. Might be something to consider... Don't co$t anything, but a few minutes time. ... ¡Hell; ¡LAY-CLAIM, to your own creativity!!
