Hello people. I hail from the small but beautiful state of New Hampshire. I grew up fishing on the Connecticut River, from Connecticut to Canada, fishing for Northern Pike, Rainbow trout, Browns, Square Tails, Black Bass, and largemouths. I really enjoy the upper river, and lakes of northern nh. Up there, you fish for mostly rainbows and Brown Trout. Hunting season is just about done here, at least for me. I now will be paying my attention to late fall fishing for trout and waiting for ice in. Then its ice fishing for crappie, perch, trout.
From ice in to ice out, you'll find me and friends on the ice. Early January is Northern Pike time, turning by early February to trout and panfish.

Welcome, billsafari99! I had lived in northern Massachusetts for 4 years, but never did get a hook wet, in NH. (Kinda odd, seeing as how we'd go up for beer & tobacco, most Sundays!)
That's odd. I lived in Massachusetts from 1970 to 1972, and never fished there either. lol

I've never fished there either, but the wife still makes cigarette runs (half of Ct.prices). I've also got a couple buddies making the Mass.run for weed.

Well, there sure did seem to be a lot available up there, in the early '70's, at least... Alotta guys were GROWING some "fairly decent" "moan-groan" up there, as well. All "budded out", nicely, like you wouldn't expect to find that far north!

Did not know that... Don't much matter to me, anymore... (I've APPEARENTLY, "had enough".)
