I’ve fished most of my life like many people I know. I’ve have to admit, the decline in fishing is noticeable over the years. I like the coastal regions in NC in search for saltwater (SPOTS). I have a 19’ Sea Pro to get me to the fish. Problem is, it is so difficult to locate them. Had anyone had any luck catching SPOTS lately? I mean other than waiting them out on the pier. Thanks to all.
Sircastalot: Yes, that can be a problem. Have you tried using any advanced electronics to help you find the fish,or at least the likely spots where fish might be? Just Sayin...RJS

Welcome aboard Sircastalot.
Don't know a thing about spots, but welcome to the stage. If you find some and catch one, how about a picture? We do love photos.
What's a spot?

Are you headed up North? I was hoping we could go last weekend but I was laid up with BP at 187/109. Started taking these diet pills without doing the research and damn near killed myself! Good luck buddy!

Yep but not today - hopefully tomorrow. They started planting trout a couple of weeks ago, so they should be moving around. Just hope the wind stays down. Watch that bp, take care of yourself. And be safe.
Yes, I have a Lowrance depth finder. I could be better at using it. I mostly use it for gauging depth and the fish finder indicator. Not much luck locating the elusive “SPOTS”.
