Has Brad been staying on that Striper bite while you were gone?

Duck season started and he had to quit the Napa because there is no parking due to the duck hunters getting there BEFORE sunrise.
HE/we have been goin to the Petaluma river right now and we're still catchin 20to 30 a day trollin 1oz Rattle Traps at 5 mph. Most all of them are keepers though.
There were 3 of us last Sat. and we caught 30 and kept our limit of 6.

I forgot about all the duck hunters this time of year. I stopped duck hunting many years ago. Is the entire Delta full of hunters or does Fish and Game only allow hunting on certain areas?

I'm not sure. I think they can hunt just about anywhere.

I think you are correct. I wonder how often a guy fishing might choose a bad spot? Guess if you see decoys keep your head low and throttle wide open!

Another Saturday at Sonoma lake, fished my senko, and was also working my fluke, got 1 small mouth on the senko, missed 2 bites on the fluke, all in all a fun day, not as many fish jumping today,

Nice fish Bass. It’s always fun fishing whether you catch a fish or not.

I like your attitude Hack! I remember one of your posts about a trip that might not have been fun though. And if you'd been with me Saturday it's possible you'd still be complaining about it today! Lol

Yes Sir. That was a trip from hell.
1. We were late getting there.
2. The entire parking lot was under water.
3. We had to launch our kayaks from the parking lot and I stumbled over a pier step.
4. The water was so rough it was splashing over my yak and filling it up with water.
5. The guy I went with got scared and stayed next to shore.
6. When I went to him to help him get back my yak hit something and knocked a hole it the aft.
7. I had paid $25 for the live shrimp and didn’t use but one and gave the rest away to another fisherman.
It was bad but it could have been worse. Now the guy I went with won’t fish out of his yak anymore and wants to go with a guide offshore, and spend $300 for a half day of fishing. No thank you. I want to go in my yack and catch fish.
