Maybe once this whole virus thing works itself out and now that I'm retired, I can start working on a bucket list of places I've never fished but would like to. Flaming Gorge would be right up there and it's not that far away. Mongolia is another, for one of them taimen, but that's a far cry from Wyoming. You never know.

I’ve got to work for a couple more years at least. I plan getting over there before I retire. It’s close enough I can take a long weekend and get at least a couple of days worth of fishing. I may try ice fishing over there this winter. I’d love to do a trip to Alaska too before I die.

I've been to Alaska a few times and managed to fish there a couple You know what? I wish there were a National fishing license you could buy that would be good anywhere in the u.s. - that would be great - and they could provide one to vets for a nominal fee, or better yet issue you one with your dd214. That would show more respect than a f ing t-shirt crowing about standing and kneeling. But - don't ask what your country can do for you. Christ. It's gettin late and I'm getting cranky. You all have a good nite. But first, get off my lawn!

Ha ha! I didn’t see this reply until now. I love your crankiness Spirit.
I really like the national fishing license idea, and second the veteran discount. I think vets like you, and so many others on here, deserve a lot more than you are given. Thanks to all of you for your service!

Spirit comes up with some good ideas once in a while. That would be a great proposal as nobody deserves it more than the Vets. Maybe it would help if he tells the skunk story? He has until Tuesday to get his idea to one of the candidates. It may be worth a few extra votes.

Come on Spirit! You have a chance to be the grand finale for 2020!!! Go get a PB of whatever species, post some pictures and we’ll all end the year on a high note. Then congress will pass the Spirit-Veteran lifetime fishing license bill and we’ll all be eating cloud sandwiches and rainbow stew!

Yeah ! Right ! And we'll all be
'dumping' gold bricks !
---------------
Oh, the grass is always greener
In the other fellow's yard !
And that little row
We have to hoe -
Oh, boy ! That's hard !
But if we all could wear green glasses, now,
It wouldn't be so hard,
To see how green that grass is
In our own back yard !
