Yeah. Sorry I guess I should read the posts! Really looking forward to getting out of this ______ state. Just a couple of weeks til we're down. I'm looking forward to winter fishing where the water doesn't get hard! Does your son fish Geneva? It's a great fishery but way too many pleasure boats for it's size. The only reservoirs I've fished are only a few to a few thousand acres so these huge lakes are going to be bit different. I've got a decent boat so I'll be able to get around. I see you're northeast of Knoxville, have you ever gotten down and fished Watts Bar or Chickamauga?

My son doesn't fish. I haven't fished Watts Bar but I have a friend who lives in the Sweetwater area. He has fished there and the crappie fishing is excellent. Not sure about this late in the year but in the spring big time. We have Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) and they regulate water levels on rivers and lakes. Basically, drop levels in winter, up in spring. It impacts fishing results. I would think Watts Bar would be good for smallies too. Not sure about Chickamauga. Ivey, a FS member, may know Chickamauga info.
