Welcome to the Forum, Smalljawz, You will be in good company down there.

Welcome to the stage SJ, I'm just a little west of you on Tim's Ford Lake. You'll be close to some really great fishing Watt's bar, Chickamauga, Nickajack and upper end of Guntersville will be close with some of the best Largemouth fishing in the country. You'll find some Smallmouth along some of the stretches of these lakes and really good below the Dams. Ever looking for someone to fish with give me a shout.
Thanks. I know there is a lot of water around the Spring City area. Up here I fish a lot of Wisconsin waters and mainly target smallmouth. This time of year is my favorite up north but I guess I don't need to worry about the water getting hard! I may take you up on your offer once I'm settled in.
Greetings smalljawz : Watts Bar is a great lake loaded with fish . There's lots of places to rent boats or party barges if you don't have a boat . You will love the fishing there . There's a large no. of people that rent the party barges to fish all night long there . Let us know how you make out or if we can help in any way RB
Thanks RB,
I'm really looking forward to fishing Watts Bar as well as some of the streams in the area. I do have a boat and can't wait to get it wet. It will be a whole new adventure on a bunch of new lakes. I appreciate all the warm welcomes from everyone here.

Welcome Smalljawz. Great fishing on Watts Bar. Good for crappie. Spring City is a nice area. I used to travel in that area for work. I moved from WI to Knoxville 4 years ago. I live in Strawberry Plains, TN now. Not far from Douglas Lake, TN river, Cherokee Lake, Holston River. I'm not aware of any radio shows on fishing in that area. Chattanooga market isn't far from you. That's a possibility. Enjoy the area. Where did you live in WI? I moved here from.Oshkosh.
I lived in Illinois but did a lot of fishing in Wisconsin. Loved Lake Geneva some great smallie fishing. Twice a year I would head up north of Green Bay to High Falls Flowage, more great smallmouth. Where in Wisconsin did you live?

I lived in Oshkosh before I moved to TN. Oshkosh is about 45 minutes south of Green Bay. I have a son that lives in a small town about 10 miles from Lake Geneva.
