I fish down near your area about once a year, but across the state line in Cherokee Co. in Kansas at the strip pits. Great bass, crappie, catfish, and blue gill fishing! Not far from Joplin.

Hi Mike. Welcome. How is Joplin? My son and his team from NY played there in a baseball tournament in 2011. First big event after that terrible EF5 tornado. Had the whole team and us coaches and parents help out with some clean up work. Hope all is well.

Hello Mike, Welcome fellow Missourian. Quite and education here on the FS. Bass started hitting again. A couple of quiet weeks while small bait fish were so plentiful that it took a heavy spoon hitting them on the nose to get any action.
