I've been to the Amazon for peacocks three times. My largest is 22 lbs,
and I had it mounted by one of the best in Ontario. (I can send a photo.) We
have caught many over 10 lbs; my wife's best is 18 lbs. Walking the dog with
Zara Spooks has been very productive -- a far cry from my first trip many years
ago when we fished live piranhas with empty 16.9 fl oz water bottles for bobbers.
I'm going back this January. It will be my 4th outfitter. (Avoid "Captain Peacock".)
