1st of October was start of deer season, had a good start with a doe at 9.30 am. Went back this morning and just after 6.30 2 came out in front of my blind, aimed with the crossbow and was a sure hit.
1st pic is doe from Thursday, the other was a spike from today. Time for a break and get some area management done.

Hard to beat deer meat. It's my favorite. Good for you.

My kids ate Green Eggs and Ham while watching Cartoons. But the Ham was usually Deer or Elk. I tell them about it now and they laugh.

Ronnie, my buddy had a good day Saturday when he shot his pb whitetail buck. He uses a crossbow also. He called me to come help him drag it out. Big deer!

Nice, have only seen 1 big deer where I hunt, he comes around near the end of November, hoping he's still around this year.
