If you think expelling water out your nose is bad, imagine what it feels like with a mouthful of carbonated soda (Pepsi, in this case) getting blown out through
your sinus cavity ! A friend and I were watching the second Eddie Murphy 'Nutty Professor' movie (the Klumps) when the restaurant
'pyro-flatulence' scene came on, just as I had taken a swig of my soda; fortunately, I was able to grab a nearby napkin just in time to keep from spraying the room !
Man, did my eyes tear up from
that experience !
On another occasion, another of my friends, my cousin, and her friend and I had just sat down for
a spaghetti dinner; after 'seasoning' my food, I accidentally inhaled a snootfull of black pepper, which made me sneeze right after taking a bite of my
food ! Although I sneezed into a napkin, I could feel something uncomfortable in my nose and sinuses, and something was protruding from my left nostril !
When I grabbed it and pulled, a whole strand of spaghetti
followed, still covered in tomato sauce and fresh black pepper; it was another eye-watering experience, as the sauce and pepper both left some residue in my sinus cavity which itched and burned for quite some
time !

It WAS al dente, but after going through my gullet, sinuses, and out my nostril, it WASN'T going back in; in my book, it was no longer good pasta !

Kinda figured as much; back in
my youth, it probably wouldn't have bothered me, plus the ladies at the table would likely have looked at me askance had I done so !
