Good Morning and welcome Gleak hope you are one of the few not having to deal with the fires out your way. I see you logged on kind of early so hang in there others will be on sometime today. After all it's hump day. Mid week sleep ins too.

No, fires are more south of Portland. We are located north of Portland. We are definitely getting smoke hazy skies for past few days. Hopefully clears soon, expected rain today.

Gleakster:
Welcome to FS. I joined 3 months ago and look forward to the daily dose of tips, tricks, humor and nonsense. I'm in your neck of the woods in E. Vancouver, but do most of my fishing on the south side of the river. My plans to make a day trip to Detroit went up in smoke. Looking forward to clear skies.

Hello all. I've been reading the reports on most of your fishing tips etc for some time. I'm not a bass fisherman or as far as that goes for years I fished trout streams but health stopped my wader trips. I've tossed back many perch thinking it was a trash fish. But once I ate one that changed my selection of fish wanted.
Now I fish with a friend (both in the 70s) from a bass tracker tournament edition 2019 model with a 75. HP. It's a lot of boat for us old goats. But we manage.
Sry for being lengthy,I just want to throw everything about me out at once..
I appreciate your patience and how to learn more

Welcome, mow; maybe consider going back in your "profile" & at least provide a general geographic location. It'll help you get more helpful information.
