The world is made up of all kinds of people.

Yep, I just hate it when those folks try to cram their beliefs down my throat. I Have said it once and I know I'll say it again, Everyone is entitled to their own opinion
True but you are not entitled to your own reality. You may believe that two stones dropped from a height will fall at different rates depending on their weight. But you would be wrong, regardless of your belief or your opinion on the matter. My opinion, which I'm entitled to, we should always try to hold informed opinions. Informed by facts, and we are not entitled to our own facts.

Thank you, Daniel Patrick Moynihan.
I started high school in a suburb of Los Angeles, we had a gazillion students. Halfway through H.S, we moved to a little town in Northern California. The kids there had known each other since forever, and I was kind of an outsider. That was complicated by the fact that I had started going to school early and so I was a year younger than just about everyone in my class, that made it even harder to fit in. I went to the 30th reunion, and that's it. It was okay, but not worth the travel it took.
My Mom told me that she went to her 50th reunion, and got some satisfaction in seeing that the popular, perky girls in the in-group had grown up to be slovenly fat old broads, most of them on their third or fourth marriage. Sometimes, time is on your side!

No, I'm not entitled to my own reality, BUT I know what I have seen, There is no rational explanation, and there is a lot of things that have never been explained, the Bell Witch has never been explained, No I do not believe everyone who claims to have seen bigfoot has seen him. But, I do not believe everyone who claims to have encountered something that science denounces as non-existent is lying.

Nor do I. May I recommend an excellent book on the matter? The Demon Haunted World. Carl Sagan.
Remember him? Billions and billions. A remarkable man.
