Have you used algebra, trig, dissected a frog lately, wrote a story with footnotes, given a speech? The list goes on. Everything I needed to know in life, I learned in kindergarten. Don't tell anyone. It's a secret.
All through elementary and high school, I was barely able to pass math. Algebra got even harder, because there's so much abstract stuff in it. I wanted to solve an equation for X= some actual number, not x=Q/Y squared. Trig was math that I could see what it was for. Handy stuff, and I got my first A's in math!
But I still don't know how to figure "If train A leaves podunk at 2:00 and train B leaves calamityville at 9:00, what time will they pass each other?"
