I’ve loved fishing my whole life but typically just in lakes. I’ve since moved into river and ocean fishing, which I’ve come to learn, is a bit more difficult. I live in Seattle Washington and have started fishing in the Puget Sound if anyone has pointers on catching coho silver or chinook really any salmon I would love to hear about your experience. Thanks everyone.

Welcome to the forum. Try going on a party boat to start with in order to learn something about the local fishery and techniques. When I was in Seattle last - more than 20 years ago - I caught lots of small salmon casting spoons off a pier in Elliot Bay. Good luck!

I was stationed in Alaska for 4 years i used a lot of spoons but also put two spoons together connected by the metal o rings. They layed on top of each other.
