Nice fish. Definitely worth a separated shoulder. Pretty sweet boat too. Thanks for the pics. It sure would feed the masses.

Nice fish and rig. I don't think I've ever seen that many flush mount rodholders on a boat that size, anywhere. Thanks for posting it

Someone in Japan would pay big bucks for that fish.

A fisherman's dream. Nice catch. Looks a lot bigger than 345! He probably won't get excited with the 10# largemouth anymore.

I caught a blue fin in 1975 when I was in the army in Panama. I though I caught the biggest fish in the ocean. I was there from Wyoming where a big, I mean really big, fish was 30 pounds. Mine was 50 and it took two of us 45 minutes to get it to the boat. I can’t imagine what a 345 pounder would do.

Try this one on for size. The record for the Gulf of Mexico. 9 hours to land the fish. 1152 pounds. They couldn’t get it through the fish door so they drug it back to the dock out of Venice La. the fight took the boat and crew over 25 miles of backing down and circling and jogging. Bayou Wild TV. Episode 93.

Good grief. Now I feel bad for catching a baby one. And it STILL fed a bunch of us for a month. That one would be a lifetime supply for lots of people. Can’t beat the taste of fresh tuna.
