I use magnifying glasses that clip onto my regular glasses. they flip up and down so can use only when needed. Come in magnifications from 1.5 to 4+ or more. highly recommend.

Joe, another thing that really helps me with knots is back ground colors and noise. for floro and mono I use a black background. For braid I use a whit background. The noise I'm talking about us a bunch of different colors and shapes/angles that trick my eye and take away from my view. Solid black n white background makes the brain work better for me.??

Old eyes update: purchased tie-fast knot tyer from Orvis, right at $10.00 +shipping and works great with just bit of practice. Again, thanks for all the suggestions from this group !!
