We've been getting alerts on our phones.
The fire is moving westward. Hopefully the winds won't shift to the northwest. Still lots of distance from us.

But yet we see on the news where folks are driving among the flames like they had no clue there was a fire in the area.
Can not figure that one out.

Are you really surprised that people who live in California (or anywhere else for that matter) have absolutely no
f-ing common sense?
Larry I hope you remain safe. It could get real bad up here also because we're expecting to get 20 to 30 mph winds tonight or tomorrow and there's absolutely no chance of rain in the near future. Heads up fellow Californians. Be safe and secure all!

Spirit we are northwest of the fires but what they call Santa Ana winds they said will be starting maybe.
It blows from the dessert to the ocean for those that don't know what it is. It gets pretty windy at times here when that happens.
Plum, these idiots are driving out to be lookie loos and are blocking the fire roads according to the news.
They are also flying drones to see the fires putting the fire fighting planes in danger.
We have more than our share of these people out here. Spirit and I can give you a good deal. Take one away from here and get one free. LOL.

We have our travel trailer on property in case we have to bug out. Just have to gather up the important papers and pets.

Can't get you onion rings at In'nOut but I'll go get you a double double and a double order of fries. You want it animal style, regular or no onions? They're not nearly as good as the people out here claim they are, but they're not bad. Meat has never been frozen and the fries are not frozen either - they use real potatoes and cut em pretty much for each order. I love their fries.
Anyway, take a couple of these brunettes and I'll buy you all lunch. Deal?
