With the current talk of 3-500 miles on a charge ,Depending on battery, I don’t see it being a problem. Just like putting gas or diesel in - plug it in & charge it.

Is that 3 to 500 miles? 300 to 500 miles? (I hope so). I'd want to drive that thing around for about a year or so til I had absolute confidence in it that it was gonna get me out there and back home again. Like I said, never say never. I sure like the idea, especially if it could perform like a Tesla?

Easy now, I happen to have a man purse. All the damned stuff I have to travel with just to go to Walmart, I gotta put it somewhere and I ain't got no ass so it's hard to keep my pants up less I wear suspenders, and I'd just a soon carry the leather bag. Then I don't need to figure out which f*****g pocket I put it in when I need it. Get off my lawn!

I drive a GMC Canyon.

The part about me not having no ass? That's true. I either have to have pants with elastic waists or lash my belt up so tight I can hardly breathe. Winter I resort to suspenders. Summer? Looks like I'm wearing lederhosen. Not a good look for this Welshman. Course I'm getting to an age where I don't really give a crap about what I look like. But old habits die hard.

If it gets to the point where everyone is driving electric I might consider it, until then I'd rather not.

Tesla is also coming out with a pickup as well as the Big Rigs class 8 semi’s. Its happening. Electric - hydrogen no pollution and Cali is a leader in the change over.

I was driving in downtown Salt Lake City a week or two ago. There was a Tesla and a Ferrari racing from stoplight to stoplight. The Tesla beat the other car hands down every time. It wasn’t even close. That was like my third experience with Teslas that day. Each time, it showed how much faster it was than anything around it. It was breathtaking how quickly they accelerate. Not sure how that translates into power, but I have a feeling they’ll figure it out and they’ll be pretty amazing.

The Roadster does 0-100mph in 4.2 seconds. Think about that. 1/4 mile? under 9 seconds. Hold onto your hat. And your gut.

That is correct. Amazing for an ‘electric’ car. And no pollution. Would like to put the pedal to the metal in one of them!

All that for right around a quarter mil. I'd order two.

Never say never, but I wouldn't bet on it. What I'm gonna do when I need a charge and I'm fishin at Lost Creek Reservoir which is about 4 miles from the middle of absolute nowhere? I can throw a couple 5 gallon jerry cans in the bed of my truck. Solar panels?

Who was saying they were thinking of designing a boat to run by solar? One of you guys!
