Cool IVEE. I like that you have enough respect for others to try and help keep them from possibly getting it. It’s nice to not be selfish in life.

At night do you use scent or noisy lures to increase catch rate?

I normally use scent and depending on the bait I'm using I may or may not have noise. I use a spinnerbait 30% of the time a jig@chunk with a rattle around 30% then swap the rest of the night around trying other lures. Sometime a crank bait with rattles other I'll find them biting a Ned Rig or a Neko rigged plastic craw. I spray the Menhaden Oil on everything. Lure

I'm in quarantine for 14 days after my wife was exposed to someone who had the virus. This is not law in Tennessee and yes it's still free here but I preach Civic duty so I also practice civic duty. Knowing I my have possibly been exposed I choose to follow guidelines to help protect others. That's why I waited till the parking lot was empty to go to the ramp.

Well guys I broke free from quarantine last night and went fishing. I waited till there were no other vehicles in the parking lot and headed out. Didn't see another person so I guess I was OK. Beautiful night like I had the lake to myself. Only got two Smallmouth but it was sure good to get out of the house.

Nice fish Ivey, good for you. Night fishing sounds peaceful. Good on ya for following guidelines too, stay safe

I mainly fish in the dark to get away from the hot sun and ski boats. Plus I'm a night owl and have always enjoyed the stars out on the lake.

What do you use for mosquito repellent at night that it doesn't stink up the bait your using. I am thinking it gets on your hands and transferred to the bait.

I have a Thermacell I set just behind my seat, nothing gets by that. Also after the dew falls it shuts the bugs down so I only have to run it an hour or so a night.

I'm a believer in those. Us them for every outdoor activity. Fishing hunting golfing picnics
