A baitcaster on a spinning rod??

I guess I missed it to.... I don't know why the baitcaster is mandatory.

Oh it's mandatory alright, at lease for me, but I must admit, the spinning gear is growing on me more and more, this coming from a guy that used to NEVER use them, in fact I m needing to go buy a new one that's good but under say $60 maybe, any suggestions?

Dame 60.00 is cutting pretty close to the bone. BPS has a Pflueger President -BPS Graphite series combo that runs 69.96 for a 20 size reel, and 79.96 for a 30 size reel. Prices would be 94.98 and 104.98 if purchased separately. May but worth looking into.

I buy all my reels on ebay. It takes time to look through them but there are great deals to be found on new and used. For example, I just bought a Shimano that's 20 years old. The owner got it as a gift that's sat in his office unused all this time. And I paid a fraction of what today's brand new Shimano baitcasters cost.
