Went river fishing after a nice little rain shower..within 5 minutes pulled a nice little catfish out..rebaited and hit after hit..then nothing....then line gone straight out and fast...gar..I was done..it was close to 3 feet long .no thank u .happy fishing

April-O; at least you did some catching, not "just" fishing! ¿Have you ever tried "Gar-Balls"? (A dish served up, in the "Lower Delta" region, of LA) Once a person's done "worrying about all them bones", they make pretty good table-fare. (I'm not sure how to prepare them, but; I bet somebody on here does.)
