Glad to have you coming in as a neighbor. It's about 2 hours from my home to Russellville. The striperfishing below the dam is great on all the lakes of the Arkansas River. If you like white bass they will be balled up there also. My favorite eating fish that are easy to catch in the tail race waters are the blue cat. You'll need something that will make long cast. Wait till you get there then go below the dam to see what the guys catching fish use. Tight lines
